France 2012

We have been here a day already and completed so much! Last night we did indoor climbing, photographs to follow soon. Today, we started with a visit to the bakery or ‘boulangrie’ as they say in French. Then finally, the sun started to shine and we visit the beach where we’ve had the opportunity to paddle in the English Channel! It was extremely cold – just ask Mr Duffy and Miss Middleton, who had to stand in there too!

Keep watching as we will put some photos up very shortly!!

Next half term we will have lots and lots of exciting things happening to celebrate the Olympics coming to London.

Business and Commerce response from Sue

Dear Business and Commerce Curriculum Enrichment Group,

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and hearing your persuasive arguments for having your own card stall at our International Evening in June.

You work well together as a team. You were very professional in your presentation.

I am delighted to see some of your card designs on the school blog. I am looking forward to seeing your final designs and choosing a range to buy to send to my friends and family.

Good luck,
Mrs Hayward

Business and Commerce CE

Exciting news…

As some of you will already know, we now have a business and commerce group during curriculum enrichment on a Friday morning. So far, they have brainstormed ideas, surveyed parents in the playground and had a meeting with Mrs Hayward to discuss their ideas and request a stall at this years international evening on the 21st June 2012.

The children have been working really hard designing and making cards this half term and we can reveal that we have been granted permission to sell them on the evening.

Here are some of our first designs…
